The Approach

Soulogy works directly with automatic stress responses and subconscious patterns, supporting them to update in line with who you are now — not who you once had to be.

Our work focuses on the point where life still functions on the surface, yet sustaining it quietly costs more than it used to. Using clinical hypnotherapy, EMDR-informed work, somatic awareness, and energy practices, we engage the nervous system at the level where responses are organised, beneath conscious thought.

Our Method

Soulogy works beneath conscious strategies, at the level where automatic stress responses and long‑standing patterns are organised and maintained.

​

We integrate clinically informed hypnotherapy, EMDR‑informed processing and nervous‑system‑based somatic methods, with subtle energy work as needed, to create conditions where responses can gradually settle, reorganise and match present‑day reality.

​

Rather than managing symptoms or enforcing behaviour, Soulogy supports regulatory systems that have been under long‑term pressure, and is designed for people who have already done a lot of insight‑based work and are ready for deeper, system‑level change.​

Core elements of the approach:

Clinically informed hypnotherapy
 

Creates a focused, relaxed state in which the nervous system settles out of chronic activation and becomes more receptive to change.

​

Rather than beginning with story or catharsis, the work prioritises internal safety and regulation. Clients are guided to establish a stable baseline before engaging with stress or trauma material, keeping the system within its window of tolerance. The work draws on NLP-based techniques, Resource Therapy principles, somatic awareness, and psychologically informed methods to engage protective patterns, internal responses, and body-based cues directly.

By working with imagery, internal representations, sensation, and meaning, emotional and physiological charge can soften while the system remains regulated and contained. As these responses settle, long-held beliefs and automatic reactions can be reprogrammed, allowing the nervous system to update and respond from present-day reality rather than past conditions.

The approach is structured, contained, and paced for emotional safety.

EMDR-informed processing

EMDR-informed processing uses desensitisation principles drawn from EMDR to work with how stress and trauma are held across thought, emotion, body, and nervous system.

​

During threatening or overwhelming experiences, protective responses are activated automatically. If the experience is not fully processed, these responses can remain “online,” shaping reactions years later — even as triggers change. Conscious awareness typically arrives after the response, often as a sense of “why did I react that way?”

​​

Desensitisation reduces the intensity attached to these responses, allowing memories, sensations, and emotional reactions to lose their charge. As this occurs, the nervous system recognises that the event is over, and previously learned response patterns can be reprogrammed to reflect present-day reality rather than past threat.

Jnana Kanda healing and energy work 

Jnana Kanda energy work is a subtle, traditional healing practice derived from the wisdom stream of the Vedas and taught through a Balinese lineage.

​

In Soulogy, it may be offered as a standalone treatment or integrated alongside hypnotherapy, EMDR-informed desensitisation, and neuro-somatic work, depending on the client’s needs.

The work operates through presence, stillness, and directed awareness, and may involve light touch or non-touch methods. It supports regulation and release at levels where verbal processing and cognition are limited.

  • When used on its own, Jnana Kanda energy work focuses on restoring balance and coherence within the body–mind field, often resulting in deep calm, emotional lightness, and a sense of internal spaciousness.

  • When used integratively, it supports nervous-system settling and helps consolidate changes made through other therapeutic modalities.

Why integration matters

Stress and trauma are not held at a single level.

Different methods address different layers of response, including:

  • cognition and meaning

  • nervous-system regulation

  • embodied and experiential patterns

Working across these layers supports change that is more stable and sustainable over time, rather than reliant on short-term coping or conscious effort.

Behind the Approach

I’m Zina, a clinical hypnotherapist and integrative practitioner.​

​

Zina’s work is shaped by over two decades spent in high-pressure corporate environments, working on complex programs, large-scale implementations, and transformation initiatives where pace, responsibility, and sustained performance were the norm.

​

That experience created a deep, practical understanding of how capable, driven people adapt to prolonged pressure — often remaining outwardly effective while internal systems quietly absorb increasing load. Over time, the internal cost of operating at this level becomes visible not in performance, but in regulation, sleep, emotional steadiness, and the ability to truly switch off.

Soulogy emerged from this lived understanding, alongside Zina’s clinical training in hypnotherapy, NLP, Resource Therapy, somatic methods, EMDR-informed desensitisation, and Jnana Kanda energy healing taught through a Balinese lineage, as well as qualifications in DeTrauma Hypnotherapy and clinical reflexology.

Her work focuses on nervous-system regulation, trauma resolution, and system-level change. Rather than improving performance or adding strategies, the emphasis is on addressing the automatic patterns that shape response beneath conscious awareness — allowing regulation, clarity, and sustainable capacity to re-establish naturally.

The work is quiet, structured, and carefully paced. It is designed for people who have already applied insight and effort, and who are now seeking deeper correction rather than ongoing management.

A Discreet and Ethical Practice

​

The approach is grounded in trauma-informed, ethical practice and is delivered in a way that prioritises safety, consent, and individual capacity. Sessions are confidential, personalised, and carefully paced to support integration rather than intensity.

​

While the experience does not resemble traditional talk-based therapy, its impact is deeply therapeutic. The focus is not on catharsis, performance, or repeated processing, but on creating the conditions in which change can establish quietly and sustainably.

NDIS

Soulogy also operates within recognised professional and regulatory frameworks. Zina is a registered NDIS practitioner and accepts bookings from self-managed NDIS plans and fundings. Services are delivered in line with ethical, trauma-informed standards, with care taken to ensure suitability and scope are clearly understood.Many people choose to engage with this work discreetly — not out of secrecy, but because the process is personal, contained, and meaningful.

Some private health insurers offer rebates for hypnotherapy services, depending on your level of cover. As policies differ, I recommend contacting your insurer directly to confirm eligibility and any applicable rebate amounts.
